Hang Lung Properties was awarded "the Best of Asia" in the 4th Annual Corporate Governance Asia Recognition Awards (CGARA) presented by Corporate Governance Asia, as an acknowledgement of the company's untiring efforts in adhering to high standard of corporate governance and instilling the code of corporate governance into its corporate culture.

IR magazine hosted its eighth annual Hong Kong and Taiwan Conference & Awards on Dec 12, 2008 in Hong Kong. There was only one winner in each category. The "Best Investor Relations Officer at a Hong Kong Company" award went to Mr. Terry Szeyuen Ng of Hang Lung Properties.
